All guests of Emerald Grande and Harbor Suites may enter the Emerald Grande lobby and check-in at the front desk.
Yes, once you have completed the check-in process, our Bellman can meet you at your car to assist with your luggage.
- Emerald Grande Cancelation Policy: If a reservation is canceled before the final payment due date (which is two weeks before the arrival date), the advanced rental payment (which constitutes 50% of the rent) will be lost. If a reservation is canceled after the final payment due date, the full advance rental payments and any other payments or deposits will be forfeited. Any changes to the reservation must be requested before the final payment due date, as changes made after this date will not be allowed.
- Harbor Suites Cancellation Policy: Reservations canceled within 7 days prior to the arrival date will result in a loss equal to the first night's stay value. Changes to reservations must be requested greater than 7 days out to avoid any penalties.
- Travel Protection Insurance: We highly recommend that you purchase the optional Red Sky Sun Trip Preserver travel insurance to safeguard your vacation investment in case of unforeseen events such as sickness, injury, accidents, or involuntary termination of employment. This policy also covers cancellations due to mandatory evacuations for named hurricanes, road closures, and other covered events.
We all love our pets, and we know you do too. However, neither the Emerald Grande nor Harbor Suites permits pets during your stay.
If a pet is discovered in a unit, your credit card will be charged an additional $250.00 - $750.00 (deep clean fee) depending on the size of the unit. If you must bring a pet, please feel free to contact our Concierge or a Guest Service Representative prior to your arrival for local pet boarding information.
To make your check-in process smooth and efficient, please have the following ready:
- A valid photo ID and credit card for the person whose name the reservation is under.
- Your car information and license plate number for parking registration (a photo of your license plate can be handy).
- The names of all guests staying with you, as this information is required on the registration card.
Emerald Grande and Harbor Suites offer a water shuttle to take guests to and from our private beach, located across Destin Harbor. Beach chairs and umbrellas are located on the pristine white sand and are ready for you to enjoy. Don’t forget to stock up on beverages and snacks at our Village General Store before boarding the water shuttle.
