Spooky things are starting to happen here on the Destin Harbor. Ghouls and goblins have heard the rumors of HarborWalk Village’s Spooktacular Nights and are anxiously awaiting!
This year Spooktacular Nights will be three days of fun starting on Thursday, October 28th, and will come to an end on Saturday, October 30th. Spooktacular Nights kicks off on Thursday, October 28th with a frightful performance by the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra at 7:00pm, titled, “This is Halloween” on the Main Stage. We assure you this performance is sure to send a chill up your spine.
Wait, the scares don’t stop there! Join us on Friday, October 29th at 6:30pm for our Boo’s & Booze: Bingo Pub Crawl. Before you start this haunting tradition, you will be asked to donate to the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). In return, you will receive a bingo card featuring shocking drink specials and more from our restaurants lining the Destin Harbor. Jam out to live music on the Main Stage by Tyler Livingston & The Absolutes from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Make a BINGO during your pub crawl for a chance to win ghostly door prizes. Door prize drawings will take place at 9:30pm. Afterward, all adults will be invited to Coyote Ugly at 10:00pm for our Adult Costume Contest. As the moon comes out and the monsters start to wake, we must bring the night to an end. But, do not go far… Saturday will be full of candy and costumes!
“Halloween on the Harbor has always been a favorite! It is so fun to see all the creative costumes each year. I can’t wait to see what costumes will be on our stage this year,” said Gayle Vann, Event Manager for HarborWalk Village.
There is no better way to kick off the night before Halloween than with Trick-Or-Treating. Our Family-Friendly Spook Street will take place on Saturday, October 30th! This night is all about roaming the Destin Harbor with your family and friends for this young ghoul celebration! Dress up in your best costume and Trick-or-Treat as you stop at the shops along HarborWalk Village.
Don’t be late! Registration will start at 5:00pm for our costume contest. At 6:00pm, the Family Costume Contest will begin as Trick-Or-Treating commences through the Village! Categories for the costume contest include birth to 4 years old, 5 to 9 years old, 10 and up, family or group, and last but not least, PETS! Yes, of course, your furry friends are included in the fun.
Once the Costume Contest has come to a close and the winners are picked, we are bringing out DJ Doc Roc at 7:00pm to open the night. Did someone say fireworks and fire spinning? Starting at 9:00pm, we will be ending our night with “fa-BOO-lous” fireworks over the Destin Harbor and a fire spinning show by Autumn Lyfe!
